The Comp-Position is specially designed for the changing needs in geriatric care. Its adjustable base height facilitates transfers. Its width is adjustable width so it can be easily reassigned, and the articulated headrest can be placed in several positions to provide optimal comfort.

The following adjustments are available:
- Tilt range: up to 45 degrees
- Seat-to-floor height adjustment: 19" to 21" (48 to 53 cm)
- Seat width: 16 ½" to 19 ½" (41 to 49 cm)
- Seat depth: 15 ½" to 19 ½" (39 to 49 cm)
- Seat-back angle: standard 90 to 115 degrees (option OB-07 provides and angle between 98 and 135 degrees).
- Armrest height: 7 ¼" to 12 ¼" (18 to 31 cm)

It depends on the change in width needed. There are 2 widths of cushions for the Comp-Position: One is for 16 "and 17" seat widths and the other for 18 "or 19" seat widths. If the adjustment is more than 1" (2.5 cm) or you go from 17" to 18", or vice versa, you will need to get an additional cushion kit. The option codes for the extra cushions are OA-06 for the seat cushion and OB-08 for the backrest cushion.

The Comp-Position’s leg rest is equipped with an automatic compensation system that enables it to be deployed and extended in one operation, saving valuable time for caregivers. In addition, the leg rest stores at a negative angle under the chair, providing sufficient clearance to position the user’s feet optimally during transfers.

Yes, the automatically compensating leg rest can be easily adjusted for taller people.

Since the chair is assigned to a particular user for long-term care, it is not recommended to have adjustments that are too easy to change. Bolting prevents unauthorized persons from easily changing the chair’s configuration. This ensures that the Comp-Position chair is properly adjusted at all times for the end user.

Its maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs. (113 kg) and its overall width is 25 ¾" (65 cm) when configured with the widest seat.
